Also known as Aporos sleeper, or ornate sleeper, is a species of fish in the family Eleotridae found in marine, brackish, and fresh waters from Madagascar to Melanesia. This species grows to a total length 11 inches. This fish is from the Goby family. The name Gudgeon is misleading as this name refers to a type of fish similar to rainbow fish.
