Sicklefin Barb (Puntioplites falcifer)

This special barb is a rare find in the aquarium hobby. It can reach up to 16 inches and has a very distinct tall dorsal fin.  It is native to the Mae Klong, Mekong, Chao Phraya, Tapi and Pahang rivers in Mainland Southeast Asia. It is a mid-water schooling  fish.
