Black Diamond Freshwater Stingray is a pure bred line. The bloodlines can be traced back to wild stock. This fish originates in Brazil from the Xingu River. Thousand Island are a variation of Black Diamond where the pattern of the spotting develops many little spots in addition to the main spotting. Usually the little spots develop with age and over time more and more spots develop.
